Search by business name
The basic search for business names allows you to search for names that contain the words that you are searching for and will search for business names, trademarks and trade names.
An advanced business search will allow you to refine your search further to one or more types – business name, trade name and trademark, and you can select exact matches only. You can also choose to restrict your search to filing dates between a set date range.
The search results will include a list of all business names that match your search perimeters and will include ID number, document number, name, event, status, form and formation date.
You can find out more details about any of the businesses in the list by clicking on the ID number highlighted in blue. The business details displayed include:

On the advanced search form, you can also search by registered agent, reserved name holder, trade name registrant or trademark registrant where you can enter name details such as last name, first name, middle initial and suffix. The search results will list all the people with the name you searched for that are involved in businesses that match your search criteria with the list displaying the person’s name, address, type and count.
