How can I get a business license in Arizona?
Arizona doesn’t require all businesses to have licenses and some will be required to have more than one license. Most businesses will probably need to have a Transaction Privilege Tax License which allows them to sell products or services in the state and these cost $12 per location. You can apply online through the Arizona Business One Stop (B1S), by mail or in person.
Regulatory Licensing or Permits may also be required for some businesses or professions and these vary by industry, state, local and federal government; and Local Business/ Occupational License or Permits may also be needed which can vary depending on the city or town you operate in.
