A business owner gave a glowing recommendation for this business for tax returns. I called and asked if they could do complex returns and explained my return included RMDs, farm rental, real estate rentals, a household employee, and stock and property sales and income. I was assured they could handle everything. I turned over my source material in late Feb of 2024 for 2023. They sent me more than 10 returns mostly marked “final” one after another. I spent hours and hours reviewing, pointing out errors and checking corrections. I even quoted IRS regulations to them a few time. I finally accepted one for filing less than a week before the filing deadline. On 2 occasions they said they could not do what needed to to be done and previously had been done on earlier returns. I suggested they contact customer service for the program company and ask how to perform the correct action.. Those problems were fixed in a few days but then another would surface like a fraudulent deduction. There were even problems on the KY return. When I agreed to electronic filing, I hoped I had caught everything that was wrong. But, no, I’ve already received a CP23 asking for more money and spent hours on the phone with IRS. I had paid everything the accountant said to pay. Do not use this company if you have more than one source of income.
